KKnits is a small,home based buisness that has evolved from a lifelong hobby.
Resulting in me creating personalised knitwear in accordance to individual style, design & colour(s)
All of the wool KKnits use, comprises of an anti- pilling yarn, that generates vibrant and beautiful earthy tones, a super soft texture and fashionable trends for adults, children, babies and pets.
Each and every KKnits creations are hand knitted with love' and complimented upon completion with a vegan friendly, design label.

Personalisation
Along with design and creativity, KKnits prides itself on personalizing all customised designs. This is acheived by paying close attention to the customers choice of individual, style, trend, pattern choice, design ideas, type of yarn and colour choice(s).

Creativity
KKnits pattern library as previously mentioned, forms the basis for each & every customer design.
The very 1st customised design I ever did was very bespoke, due to the customer's grandaughter liking the gothic style. Therefore it was important for such an individualised sense of style to be fashioned within the design of the baby sets.
As can be seen in the attached page picture, which was created from a basic KKNITS library pattern, shown on the 2 previous webpages.

Patterns and Designs
Library of patterns comprising of pdf patterns, pattern brochures and booklets along with patterns via pintrest.
These I continue to update on a regular basis in accordance to fashion, trends,colours and yarn type in relation to the seasons.
This pattern library form the basis of each customised design

Yarn
kknits designs and patterns comprise of double knit and chunky yarns, all of which are machine washable at 30 degrees Celsius and can be ironed at a low temperature.
Most of our yarns are from a local wool shop, but outside/online suppliers are occasionally used.
James C brett yarns are a KKnits favourite, as it's a delight to work with and creates beautiful earthy tones and fashionable trends.
This particular brand of yarn also has a super soft texture making it a pleasure to not only work with but also to wear.

Colours
A wide range of colours are available.
Yarn samples can be requested, as colours do vary.
Colour/shade consistency, by checking all yarn, batch numbers and colour codes are the same for each, complete customer order.

KKnits
KKnits first started as an idea back in November 2019, after knitting several items for family and friends.
Orders were steadily coming in, as was the idea of it possibly, growing into a small home based buisness. This is when I began to think of a name and logo for my lifetime hobby.
Hence the name KKnits was decided upon, which in turn, stands for, " Karen Knits" .
Betweeen customer orders I like new challenges in the form of new patterns, which I've named my, " in-between KKnits".
I thoroughly enjoy all the knitting I do, especially when i'm able to be creative in designing bespoke pieces, with a specfic colour theme, personal style and trend.
Therefore my aim for this website is to be a platform to introduce, welcome and above all share KKnits with you, in the hope that you too, will share in the love of KKnits.
